Alicia Rinaldi

Attorney Alicia Rinaldi has practiced family law for the past seventeen years. Prior to joining The Law Offices of David S. Flashenburg, Attorney Alicia Rinaldi was a founding partner of a boutique family law practice located in Boston and Waltham. Attorney Rinaldi works with family law clients looking for court-based solutions as well as in alternative dispute resolution methods, including as a mediator, conciliator, collaborative law attorney, and as settlement counsel to clients engaged in mediation.

Attorney Rinaldi graduated from Suffolk University Law School and obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College. She is an active and engaged community member, serving as an elected Town Meeting Representative for the Town of Stoughton, a member of the Inter-Governmental Relations Committee, and a board member of her local PTO as well as Stoughton Youth Baseball.

Attorney Rinaldi is a member of the Norfolk Bar Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Massachusetts Council of Family Mediation, and the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council.

Mediation
Attorney Rinaldi works with clients who would like to try to resolve their divorce and family law concerns outside of court in an efficient, discrete, and cooperative fashion.  Clients chose mediation in an effort to avoid the high financial and emotional costs of contested litigation, as well as reduce uncertainty and delay.  As a mediator Attorney Rinaldi serves as a third party neutral, facilitating settlement and memorializing all the terms into a comprehensive final agreement. Mediation sessions can be held in person in our Stoughton office or virtually.

Attorney Rinaldi works with clients looking to resolve the following disputes via mediation:

  • divorce
  • modification of prior divorce agreement
  • child custody and child support matters
  • prenuptial agreements
  • postnuptial agreements
  • cohabitation agreements

Collaborative Law
A collaborative divorce process is one in which clients resolve their family law concerns outside of a contested litigation arena, similar to mediation.  A collaboratively trained attorney works closely with their client as a team, to find solutions that work for everyone. In a collaborative divorce, the attorney helps clients reach a settlement by participating in direct negotiations, focusing on solutions, not adversity and strategy.
